Last Updated:    May 11, 2015      updated status.

Date Constructed: 1934
Address: 935 Logan Street
Current Building Name: Louisville Public Works
Earlier Building Names: None
Architect: Unknown at this time
Builder: Unknown at this time
Current Status: Demolished (sometime prior to 2015)
Designation (if applicable): NA

The Louisville Public Works Building is located at 935 Logan Street. It is still used by the metro government agency Louisville Public Works.
Notice the very deco-ish limestone ornamentation around the top of the buildings. Someone mentioned that these decorations look like mud dobber nests (albeit a more elegant version!).
I seem to recall seeing a photo of the two half-circle windows facing Logan Street with a very deco ornamentation to them. These no longer exist, and instead were replaced by simple modern windows to fit the spaces.

The main building is the Fleet Services Division, and the building towards the back of the lot is the Louisville Metro Surplus Property building. More research to come.

UPDATE: I drove by this location in May 2015 and noticed it was now demolished.
