Jacob ElementarySchool is located at 3670 Wheeler Avenue. The main structure was built in 1932. There is an original building still attached to the north (which I didn't photograph). It was built in 1912 and is much smaller. Both buildings are vacant and were sold by the Jefferson County Public Schools at auction in April 2006.
Pay special note to the decorative elements in the photos. They are very much Art Deco in style.
